This week's ethical
dilemma concerns gay marriage. Though never considered an issue
to be discussed in "polite societies," the demand for equal
rights (particulary in marriage) on the part of homosexuals is very much "out of the closet."
Starting with the Stonewall Riots of 1969, homosexuals have
brought their agenda into discussions in all levels and branches
of government. After we have undergone an introductory
focus for this topic, you may proceed to your first module designed
to study this controversial issue. Keep in mind, however, that
ethics is all about questions. You must ask them of yourself
in order to find your own answers.
