The school bank, located in the bookstore,
provides a banking service free of charge. Students should
not keep cash in any amount in their rooms. Students must
place all passports, return airline tickets and other
valuables
in the school safe. Cushing cannot be responsible for items
lost, stolen or damaged. Parents are advised to list valuables
on their homeowner;s insurance policy.
We
have a maximum withdrawal limit of $50 per day or $250
per weekend. Further we encourage the use of ATM/credit or
debit cards rather than relying on cash.
We recommend that students do not bring large
amounts of cash to registration. Parents may deposit money
into a student's bank account by sending a check, by faxing
a credit card with a signature to 978.827.6927 or by sending
a wire transfer to Cushing Academy, c/o Banknorth in Fitchburg,
MA. The bank routing code is #211370545 and the account number
is 900-390-1. Please clearly specify the name of the student
and that the funds are intended for the student's bank account
on the wire transfer.
